Lucy moved into our condo the next day and was immediately an integral part of our life. When we made love, it was usually all of us together, but she was initially hesitant to return the physical affection Heidi and Margrethe offered her. But about a week later I perfunctorily knocked on the door to her office before walking in and I found her and Heidi 69-ing on her desk. After that we made love with perfect interchangeability. I said, “It was really one of my engineers more than me. She has built a genuinely revolutionary system which we believe will meet all your requirements and more.”

He said, “Excellent. I knew you could do it. Now, how soon will the system be ready to implement? This isn’t one of those theoretical breakthroughs where the science is sound, but the hardware doesn’t exist, is it?”

I said, “We have the system running in our lab right now. I’m certain the system could be refactored to suit whatever method you’re planning for getting it to the Moon and implementing it.”

He said, “All in good time. I’ll have Ms. Kristiansen send over the lift requirements and you let her know how long before you can have a package ready to load.
